Hello!

I'm a long-time artist (and lover of bread), living in the Bay Area and pursuing UX design. I’m passionate about the environment, gardening, and dogs. After studying environmental science/engineering in college, I ended up working for a couple of tech companies, some related to the environment and some distantly related to the environment, all awhile doodling on the side. I realized although I didn't want to pursue a career as an artist, I did want to pursue a career that incorporated my design skills.

To me, UX design is essential for a successful product because it incorporates so many aspects, such as UX research, product and business considerations, and technical limitations. User interviews might be one of my favorite parts of UX design because I get an opportunity to interact with people face to face. Good design always starts with research/data and keeps the user in mind.
